ROOFINGREVISITED
A 50 Year Review of The Evolution of Commercial Roofing…

There are 50M commercial buildings in the US and they all have one thing in common. Roofs. I chronicle all of the materials we have all used to try to keep these roofs watertight. Some that worked, some that did not.
We review some of the key players through the years and the different business models from Roll-ups to VC Buy ups, Bricks and Mortar vs Man in Van expansion models and most importantly, where these players stand today.
We cover 50 Years of technologies starting with fax machines, mobile phones, the internet, GPS, digitized blueprints all leading up to today's satellite imagery, advanced CRM and accounting systems, mobile field apps, drones and more.
We cover some of the Socioeconomic events that rocked us to our core including recessions, fuel shortages, 911, Covid and more. All of which forced us to change the way we all did business.
Projected release January 5, 2025
